You can visit Isle of Wight's pristine beaches, beautiful gardens and parks, ancient forts, enchanting castles, interesting museums and much more during your Isle of Wight holidays. Further, you can spend the entire day at one of the island's popular adventure parks, if you happen to be looking out for a good dose of excitement during your Isle of Wight holidays. If you happen to be staying at one of the Isle of Wight cottages, then you are in for an even better time. This is because the Isle of Wight cottages are well equipped with modern amenities and self-catering facilities. Further, they are clean and spacious, ideal for small and large groups alike. Last but not the least, the Isle of Wight cottages are all located near most of the island's points of interest. Here are some adventure theme parks that should not be given a miss during your vacations in Isle of Wight.

The Needles Park

Visit the Needles Park located at Alum Bay to ensure that you and your family spend an enjoyable day during your Isle of Wight holidays. Leave the Isle of Wight cottages after an early breakfast to make sure you get enough time at the park. You'll spend hours enjoying rides like Spins and Needles and Jurassic Golf. Be sure to take a ride in the chairlift for the good view from above. Your children will love riding on the vintage carousel and playing games at the traditional games kiosk. If you feel the need to eat and drink, stop by one of the many restaurants including Albert's, for traditional pasties, Perks for coffee and Victoria's for some yummy ice cream. Other than rides, one can also enjoy many other attractions. The park is open daily from 10 a.m. onwards. One needs to purchase tickets for each ride or attractions they choose to enjoy.

Sandham Rides

Visit Sandham Rides, a superb amusement park especially if you are travelling with children. This park is located at Fort Street in Sandown, not too far from the Isle of Wight cottages. Children as well as adults will spend a lot of time enjoying the Go-kart ride, while the Giant Slide will not cease to amuse the kids too. The Bumper Boats are quite popular too, as well as the indoor games arcade. Sandham Rides offers families a chance to enjoy themselves thoroughly during their Isle of Wight holidays. If you feel hungry or thirsty, you can always purchase hot and cold food, as well as other refreshments like tea, coffee, cold drinks and ice creams from the restaurants located in the adventure park.
