Sandown

You will end up visiting the town of Sandown at least once if not several times during your Isle of Wight holidays, since it has a good number of attractions based here. For instance, the famous Isle of Wight Zoo is located here, as well as the Amazon World Zoo Park and Dinosaur Isle. Restaurants, pubs and bars are abundant in the town of Sandown too. Sandham Gardens is a nice place to visit for the entire family as it houses a skate park, a children's play park, golf courses and much more. However, the main reason why people visit Sandown is because it is a well-known beach resort. So be sure to carry a lot of sunscreen when you visit this town.
