Let me start by explaining exactly what resale rights are, just in case you don't know.
Resell rights or resale rights are the same thing as the name suggests basically they mean you have the right to possibly Resell/Resale the product in most cases an e-book or a piece of software.
Depending on what rights you have will determine what you are allowed to do with the product, now this can be a little confusing if you don't know about the rights.

They are lots of different rights so we are going to cover the main ones:-
Resell Rights gives you the right to resell the product and keep 100% of the profit, however your customer who buys it cannot resell the product and no changes can be made to the product either by yourself or your customer.
Master Resell Rights gives you the right to resell the product and keep 100% of the profits, it also gives your customer resell rights allowing them to do the same, however yourself and your customer and his customer etc can still not make any changes to the product.
Private Label Rights (PLR) gives you the right to resell the product, your customer and his customers can resell the product and you all can make any changes to the product you like and treat it as your own.
Making An Income.
Generally in the Internet Marketing world there are a lot of people that make a decent income by reselling e-books, so this is what I am going concentrate on.
When you get resell rights to a product you are basically getting given an opportunity for a business via the product that you can sell to others and if promoted right, you can make some good money from without the need to make you own products.
When you buy a product you normally have a condition specified within the product normally found on the first or second page telling you what you can do with it such as give it away, resell it, make any changes etc....
Becoming A Reseller.
Reselling e-books is an easy and great way to start an online business for very little cost, although can be a little technical in most cases as you will need a site, a domain, site HTML knowledge, pay monthly hosting fees to run your site etc... however not in all cases is this stuff required.
